YEAR 7 RESTART PAGE
Welcome to the Year 7 Restart page. This page will be a helpful resource that will keep you informed about the year ahead and help all families for their preparation to return to school. The last few months have been a challenging time for all, however we are all looking forward to having you all back into the classroom.
As we start planning for the return to school our main focus will be the emotional and well-being of our pupils and their families. Our classroom will be a safe and welcoming environment for all pupils and we are, as a team, very excited for the year ahead. WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL NEED FOR SEPTEMBER
Each pupil will have a tray under their table to hold their belongings.
Each pupil will need to bring:-
1 box of tissues
1 wipe clean pencil case
2 sharpened pencils
1 x 30cm ruler
1 eraser
1 pencil sharpener
1 A4 ring binder (the slim one!)
2 glue sticks
1 pair of small scissors
1 personal hand sanitiser (there will also be sanitiser available in the classroom)
1 pack colouring pencils
1 Children's Oxford dictionary
1 reusable drinks bottle
All items should be clearly labelled with your child's name.
For the first term, we are asking that pupils do not bring a school bag to school, just a wipe clean lunch box. Pupils can bring their belongings on the first day in a plastic bag (this will be recycled).

This term our class novel will be Kensuke's Kingdom. We have one copy per child, which they will keep under their table. Reading is a very important tool for children and personally I only found a love of reading during my Year 7 days, so I hope to support the whole class with this.
